Travis Cox is a Man on a Mission

Travis Cox, 6’1″ SG/PG, F.D.A. (Frederick Douglass Academy ’17)- Regardless of what others may say, FDA will always fly under the radar because they have been a Class “A” Division team now for so long so playing game in and game out against a lower level of competition in league play will hinder how their players are looked upon by some. Make no mistake about it though, Cox can play and play with anyone as he demonstrated on Sunday in FDA’s upset win over the Orangemen from Thomas Jefferson. Cox was able to play both on and off the ball, and while Jefferson was physical in the backcourt against him, Cox showed no fear and great handle in breaking the press and being able to push the ball up the court and finish either from long range or going to the basket where again he was a heady and smart guard who led his team to the big win.
