Holy Cross guard Will Davis has yet to pick up a Division I offer, but Raising Champions coach J.R. Rodriguez said the sharpshooting guard has heard from Quinnipiac, St. Francis College, Marist, Fairfield, Lehigh, St. Peter’s and Fairfield. Davis missed much the first part of his junior year at Holy Cross after right knee surgery last October, but now feels 100 percent. “The AAU season started off rocky, but I got better and I got used to playing so many games back to back,” he said. “My knee definitely feels a lot stronger.” Rodriguez said Davis’ teammate with Holy Cross and the Raising Champions, guard Marquise Moore, has picked up interest from Maryland-Eastern Shore, UMBC, Marist, St. Francis College and Quinnipiac. … Former Thomas Edison standout Cavon Baker will do a postgraduate year at NIA Prep in the fall.
