All-Bronx first team
F Amdy Fall, Wings Academy
Expectations weren’t especially high for Wings during the preseason, but that’s because the city didn’t know how much Fall, the uncommitted 6-foot-6 shot-blocking specialist with several mid-major Division I options, had improved. He almost singlehandedly improved the Wings’ defense and his strides on the offensive end turned him into one of the city’s top big men.
All-Queens first team
G Evan Conti, Holy Cross
The 6-foot-3 unsigned senior averaged 17.1 points per game, helping lead the Knights to the CHSAA Class AA intersectional semifinals. Conti, who could score in a variety of ways, became the eighth player in Holy Cross history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau.
All-Queens second team
G Marquise Moore, Holy Cross
The junior guard averaged 14 points per game, second on his team, and will undoubtedly be one of the Knights leaders next year. One of his best games came against archrival St. Francis Prep, when he had 14 points, 14 rebounds and six assists.
